Food Packaging Line Operator

General job duties:

• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations
• Adjust and run all equipment on packaging line
• Identify and help troubleshoot problems and solutions for production equipment malfunctions
• Making minor repairs to the production equipment when necessary
• Assist in building and packaging product for shipping to customers

Responsibilities:

• Notifies appropriate personnel of quality and production line problems
• Accurately completes required reports and records
• Participates in cleaning
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and orderly while following proper sanitation procedures and good manufacturing practices

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills a plus
• Strong mechanical understanding or experience preferred.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve
• Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software
• Basic mathematical skills to create production calculations

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop and twist
